By combining realism with surrealism and spirituality in its storytelling, this piece evokes contemplation and ultimately offers a cathartic return to memories of more peaceful times as a start of a journey of self-healing and escape from the chaos of the world. By illustrating a young woman with a bouquet obscuring half of her face, the piece juxtaposes the feminine universe in cosmopolitan life and nature motifs of a vibrant colour palette. The bright golden yellows complement the subtle tones of pinks and blues, and darker browns and blacks create a mysterious yet tranquil image.
