Whispering, 2022
The brighter elements of the work, the different tones of yellow and orange, provide a breath to the pressing sensation of purple and its shades. It's yet again a combination of the reality offered by the fashion photographer with the surrealist transformation of the collage. My vibrant colour palette captures London's cosmopolitan life juxtaposed with wild motifs. The contrast alludes to the possibility of nature restoring tranquillity to the chaos of the world. By calling attention to the canons of beauty and aestheticism, I use central elements as the choice of colours and motifs, which also invite the observer to find much deeper meanings.
